Surviving to Thriving
How to Transform the Health of Your Patients & Practice
Course Description
Current research has established a direct link between oral and systemic health, suggesting preventive dentistry is also preventative medicine and no longer just localized to the prevention of tooth decay and gum disease. Understanding the dental professional’s role in disease and risk management is critical to successfully implementing a system to diagnose and treat oral conditions with systemic health implications.
This course explains how treating periodontal disease and managing inflammation improve patients’ overall health and transform dental practices, increasing the fulfillment of dentists and their teams.
