Dr. David Pringle recently returned to using Burkhart for dental supplies after attempting to order supplies himself online.
“I used to use Burkhart, and then I thought, well, I’m going to try to do this myself through some secondary, tertiary websites, and it made a lot of extra work.”

“I had a Burkhart rep come in and offer me a deal to say, ‘Hey, I can beat your prices, even on all this extra work you’re doing, and not only that, I’ll show up and do some of the ordering for you.’ So, I took his deal and I ran with it. I’ve been able to have some of my employees’ time freed up because we have a rep that does some of the work for us. It seems like we’re hitting the discount goals, and there are also some intangibles that I wasn’t able to account for, like free goods, but also the Burkhart [Practice Support Team].”
One feature of the program Dr. Pringle appreciates is the service offered through the Practice Support Team.
“[The Practice Support Team]…can even look at your pricing, make sure it’s in the [correct]percentile in your area,…look at your billing, & the different types of procedures your front desk is doing. We’ve used them and it’s really helped the strategies of billing.”
He recommends the Supply Savings Program to other offices. “I’m a happy Burkhart customer, and I think there’s a lot of people out there who are trying to do too much work themselves when they could delegate and have the supplier do some of the work for them and still end up paying prices that are better or equivalent to the prices you’re paying while doing all the searching.”
