OSHA Update

Dental hygienist wearing a mask, eye protection, and gloves

Course Description

Are you OSHA compliant? Participants will discover what updated OSHA requirements need to be met and receive a certificate of course completion. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is the U.S. governmental agency that has the mission to assure the safety and health of America’s workers. Training of employees occurs when the employee begins the job, and at least yearly thereafter. For dentistry, infectious disease and hazardous chemicals are examples of potential workplace hazards of concern. This course will address certain OSHA standards specific to dental offices.

This comprehensive OSHA Course covers:

  • Bloodborne pathogens
  • Hazard communication
  • Waste management
  • Other regulatory issues

Materials for training will be taken from the ADA Practical Guide to OSHA Compliance.
