CARL F. DRISCOLL, DMD
Dr. Carl F. Driscoll currently serves as a Professor at the University of Maryland Dental School, where he previously served as Director of the Prosthodontic Residency for 21 years. He had a twenty-year career with the U.S. Army culminating with being the Prosthodontic Program Director at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for three years. Dr. Driscoll has served as President of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, President of the American Board of Prosthodontics, and as President of the American College of Prosthodontists. He has been awarded both the Garver-Staffanou Award and the Moulton Award from the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. He recently was awarded the Educator of the Year Award from the ACP. Dr. Driscoll has given over 450 presentations nationally and internationally and has authored over 75 publications. He recently co-published the book “Clinical Applications of Digital Dental Technology”. He also maintains a private practice in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife, Dr. Sarit Kaplan.
