Oral Cancer Screening Units

Nearly 37,000 Americans will be diagnosed with oral cancer this year according to the Oral Cancer Foundation. One significant concern with oral cancer is the particularly high death rate associated with this disease.  Early detection is essential to ensuring patients affected by oral cancer receive proper and effective treatment before the cancer metastasizes.

Biochemical and morphological changes in the cells of the mouth, throat, tongue, and tonsils that may potentially lead to oral cancer are visible using oral cancer screening units and very rarely to the naked eye. These units are a cost-effective way to save patient lives at routine dental checkups.
